More Visitors

Father Doug and Carol came today. We used to go to church with them and Father Doug married your Dad and I. They have been apart of my life for years and we have spent many holidays with them. They are very special people. Carol enjoyed holding you , she has grandkids of her own, but always enjoys holding a baby.

This is your Aunt Andrea, she is married to my cousin Leif. She is so excited about your arrival. She loves babies!

You have two second cousins, Carter and Ava. They are 1 and 3, as you get older, I am sure we will spend some time with them. Leif, Andrea and Ava came to visit you today. You were a perfect boy!

Daddy Time

 Happy 1 week birthday Aiden! We love you so much! You have been such a good little boy, we hope this keeps up!

Day 6

Tomorrow you will be a week old. The time has flown by! We love you so much and you are such a good baby. You love to eat, you get it from your Dad. You have already been to the Doctor, because of a non-pooping issue. Of course, once we got there, you went and went and went. I guess we didn't wait long enough but you had us all worried. Lucky for you, you don't have to go back for another week, for a 2 week check-up. We weighed you while we were there, you are back up to your birth weight, good job. Like I said you like to eat. Your Dad has gone back to work, I miss him when he is gone and I know he misses us. I send him pictures of you every night while he is at work so he doesn't miss anything. You are so strong, as you can see in this picture you can already hold your head up. We are so proud of you. Love you Baby Boy!

First Few Days Home

Here are few pictures from your first days home. As you can you slept a lot. Your Dad and I are taking so many pictures. We can't get enough of you. You are so precious.

 You are learning to stretch out. It is amazing to see you learn and grow already. It must be so nice to stretch after being cramped up in my tummy for the last 9 months. You are so cute!

 This was a sweet morning after a rough night. Hope is laying there with us. I hope she is around long enough for you to remember her. She is a sweet girl and has been a big part of your mom's life.

You love to sleep on us. It must be comforting to you. I love it, I love snuggling with you. I can't get enough.  Here you are snuggling with grandma. We all love you!

Dear Aiden,

Your Dad and I have waited 2 years for you. We love you so much! We will do our best to always do what is best for you. You will always be loved, cared for and protected. I hope you grow up to be the sweet, caring, responsible man, your Dad is. I hope you will be funny like your Uncle. I hope you will be as independent as I am. Your Grandparents will always be there too, to teach you, to help you and most of all love you. We will always encourage you to follow your dreams and do what you love. Home

We made it, we are home. You are so tiny in your BIG carseat. You did great in the car. We are so happy to be home, what sleep I do get will be in my own bed, or my own couch. Here are a few pictures of your first moments home.

This quilt was made by your 'auntie' Erica, she loves you so much. We have been friends since college and she was my maid of honor at our wedding. I am sure you will grow up always knowing her.

Going Home

Happy St. Patrick's Day, we get to go home! Hurray! Here we are leaving the hospital, I was so nervous to put you in the car. Despite my nervousness, I was ready to go home and start our lives. Here we go.

Recovery Room

We made it, after being in labor all day, ending in a c-section, its over, your here! Hurray! I am exhausted and you seem to be quite content here on the outside world. Welcome, it's going to be an amazing adventure.

I think I am already trying to nap, it will be the first of many naps I am sure of it. Your Dad is busy taking tons of pictures, so we can remember every moment. We love you!

Waiting
